The soft snow will treat you much better. Plenty of runs for you to enjoy on both sides. They have very easy to steep and difficult up higher. You will be in for a treat :)
Hey Kristen, I am an intermediate snowboarder. I mostly stick to blues on the east coast. I went to Utah a couple of weeks ago and let me tell you, you are in for a treat. If you hit blues on the icy coast, you're going to have a great time on the greens and the blues in park city. I even worked up the courage to go down blacks by the second day. The best part. It. Doesnt. Hurt. If you fall!!! (within reason of course) Your only problem is going to be that park city is just too big!! 3 days just wasn't enough Btw, definitely check out the viking yurt... But be ready for a bit of a wait. The downsides being popular I guess!! Good luck.
Kristen Park City is definitely a very friendly and accommodating mountain. We felt that the blues are more like greens and blacks are blues. It's all relative of course but it's a super accessible and nice mountain. Be sure to take the run where you literally ski right into town, then grab a beer and lunch!
At the Park City ski resort, the runs on the east side are pretty easy. You shouldn't have any trouble with the intermediate runs on that side. They are generally long and nicely groomed each morning.

What if I just wanted to go sledding, is there a place I can go and how much would that cost?
