I just picked suncrisp and melrose last weekend. Both made good pie. Lynds website has a list of what each apple is good for and what is available for picking each weekend!
As someone else mentioned, make a pie with a variety of apples. We used Golden Delicious and McIntosh. Turned out very tasty!
You want a mix of apples. A sweet and a tart. Golden delicious and granny Smith is really good! My favorite is honeycrisp because they are a little of both!
The aple garden was loaded with fresh and juicy apples.very enjoyable place thats why the no of visitors a was quite good.mostly families.
