Should I make an appointment to begin trying on dresses for a summer 2020 wedding now, or should I wait until early spring?

My wedding is taking place in the fall of 2020 in October. My bridesmaids are currently working on checking out different types of designs to match their body styles. No luck yet, so in December we're going to check out the dresses again. Finding dresses can be a roller-coaster ride. But if the bride already has a color theme and style idea, good luck and keep searching.

I would go without an appointment when its not busy. Figure out your size. I would enjoy the process. I would make an appointment when you know location, date, theme, mood, your dress, if you want others along and involved in your decision. I went alone. Picked 4 dresses. Purchased the first. Considerations: are you traveling far? If so consider weight, transporting, ...Whats most flattering? ..remember what is comfortable? Affordable? The guy or gal matters more than the dress! Have fun! Best wishes!!

You want to give yourself at least 6 months before the wedding to have time to order, ship and then alter your dress.
