The visitor center is air conditioned, but the areas of the Ship on the tour route make do with fans. It can get hot in the summer, so we recommend visitors drink plenty of water and dress for the heat.
Below deck is air conditioned, however some places are cool where others were not. Dress comfortably and drink plenty of water.
The lower decks are air conditioned, but take into consideration it's an old ship, and the air conditioning isn't the greatest, nor always spread around evenly. It doesn't feel bad below decks when it's about 80 or below outside, but above that it can still get pretty warm at times. Consider taking a bottle of water with you below deck.
