They are prohibited from starting up the galley by the Navy. They can't activate the steam systems nor would it be cost effective. I think there are some picnic sites.
No hot food is regularly offered on site. Vending machines for snacks and soft drinks are available in the visitors center at the Battleship, and candy and foods of local interest may be sold in the Ship's Store.
I believe that there might be a short order place in the main building but it appears to be closed because of the covid
There is not a restaurant or cafe on the ship.
