Only sex offenders and they do background checks. If you have warrants...the sheriff is a block away from the shelter.... usually takes a few days to come up.
I doubt that they or any agency has the resources to do a background check on everyone they help. I was impressed with the facility and the people I had contact with. Please go to their website and read their history before you judge. Go under programs and scroll down to rules, they have some of the strictest rules around.
