Go to Battery Exchange on main Street in Springfield. They will buy your dead battery
I dont remember for certain but I'm going to say no. Go up Hwy 99S an there is a shop on the left hand side kinda diagonally across from the Dari Mart which is on the corner of Royal and Hwy 99S when your going towards downtown Eugene. It say Batteries something on front of shop I think there is a small car lot next to it. Believe the building is Orange. I think a Mexican gentleman owns it you cant miss it. Or google battery buyer in Eugene. The scrap yards will buy them but you only get couple bucks a battery
