Its a great spot. Never been there in the winter months though. Camp host has fire wood and the town of Yacolt isn't too far away
I like it as a day use. Its not that remote in my mind. I cant speak to rvs but tent camping wasnt that great. Too close together and the host is an a hole. But im a up the forest road non established camp ground person. If you roll an RV you'll probably be fine here.
We went in the middle of fall, beautiful during that time. Very limited on campsites, though there are a few good ones. A few are not so great, it's first come first serve on the off season, so you won't know until you get there.
During the winter months the water is really high and rough. It's beautiful all year and during the summer the water is a great place to cool off.
It's set up more for tent camping over RV. It's very remote and in a beautiful area. The spots are rather large with pull through parking. There is not a lot of privacy between the spots.
