Even tho Google says the park is 40 akers there's not trails running all through it?

There is a trail and 40 acres sounds about right.

The woods may be 40 acres but the loop trail is not much more than a mile through the woods.

There is one major loop trail with a couple of off-shoots that either loop back to the main trail, or you have to turn around, at a view point, and head back to the main loop. There is a nice picnic area too.
