I'm not sure about a puppy, I have cats, but it cost me $60 for my male. You have to have his Rabies shot first, ($10) if he hasn't already, and then they will schedule an appointment for surgery in about 10 days after the shot. They keep them overnight after the surgery. As far as age, any time after he's 4 or 5 months old.
