The boats require a manning, and that manning requirement-needing specific endorcments... kind of shapes most of the hiring. However, sometimes they just need a deck hand or unlicinced engineer. If I were you I would snail mail a resume to the hr departmrnt then follow up with a phone call a week or so after and all they can say is no, then you say if your needs change, think of me. Best of luck, odyssea Is a fantastic company.

Thank you all for your insight. I've heard alot of great things about them. And i was definitely pursing a career with them
You received excellent information. They would know. It is definitely worth getting aboard with them if you can. They are one of the best companies to work for.
Best to have TWIC & MMC with OS. Gets you in the door quicker by showing you are serious about staying around.
All u need is a twic. And probably a basic safety course. There are entry level positions. Dont need a mmc to start. Like Bren said they really are an awesome company to work for.
