My advice would be to go check out the shelter first & see if there is a dog that fits yiur family. Then you can ask all your questions. Best of luck finding your nee fur baby!!
They don't sell dogs, but their adoption fees are very reasonable for what it covers. If you go online it breaks it down for you on their website!
