What do I need to do to get rid of my old paint? Do you accept old paint/cans for recycling?

If it is latex paint, we sell a paint additive to dry out the paint. You can dispose of the dried latex paint in the regular trash. Oil based paint will need to be disposed at a hazardous waste site. We do not recycle old paint cans. Thank you for checking with us.

Check DSWA on line. they have dates that you can drop off hazardous things. I know you can dry out cans of latex paint and put it in your regular trash,but it must be solid.(Delaware Solid Waste Authority)
