If they are brand new clothes they can be requested to go straight to homeless people. But as they have already stated they will go to donation center and sent somewhere to help someone with the needs it fits from there.
They won't let you do that, at least not at MUST. They have changed their rules and regulations about that. You have to take it to the donation center.
You can request. They typically put items in their thrift store to sell.
