Can I buy tickets here in person and not pay the inflated online prices with all the extra BS surcharges where a $60 ticket costs me $90? If yes, when are they open?

For some event's I believe

I've only ever been for a sound tigers game. The box office was open and selling tickets an hour before the game. I had already bought 4 on ticketmaster. Day after the game I got a email from a team rep that said to contact the team directly and he could get me tickets cheaper than ticketmaster with no fees.

I tried going in person for the same reason.... unfortunately, never found it open
