Yes, and no. I work in Walmart and I will literally walk around with a customer to find what they need even if Im told not to. But others will be rude and short. Plus sometimes they are just having a bad day. We've been put through hell with the virus and our work gets frustrating really quickly. I'm sorry if you had a bad time. Whether they’re being paid enough is not the point. When you have a job, you do the job according to your employer’s expectations or you get fired. Simple as that. And if your job involves customer service, then you give your employer’s customers the best customer service that you possibly can, or-you guessed it-you get fired. Don’t like it? Go find another job.
