Yes head chef is Cuban. However the kitchen help varies. The food is really good and very authentic recipes. There are 2 locations and I find the do it is much better at the location on East Tremont.

I am not sure if the cooks are Cuban, but the food is amazing. Been here like 4 or so times and likved it every time. Ropa Vieja is to die for. Great burger, too.
