How do I get the Met Card. My friend said that it will be provided when I start shopping I went today and I asked about the met ID Card no one gave me an answer they were a lot of things on sale but you need the card and that is why I paid so much

You can also head to the "customer service"area they can give you a club card there as well it's right before all the registers start

They will sign you up for a "Club Card" right at the register. It's not called an ID card, so they were probably just confused by the terminology.
