Likely Marketplace is a little larger, lower cost to Walmart. To Walmart, it's unfortunate that it's all about quantity. Donna, try Aldi's... That's what we do. The company that makes Aldi's baked goods, meats, prepared foods is the one Walmart uses, except Aldi's is lower than Walmarts prices. And for the record, this was a great question... Hope this info helps.
Unfortunately with Walmart the decisions come down from corporate. They don't frequently go by what sells at a particular store, area or even region. Even with their stock that comes in to the stores from the warehouse, they just get what they get. That's why sometimes you will notice products (usually something that sells or maybe you even buy frequently) is out of stock for a while. Then you'll see an overabundance of some products on the shelf (and/or on top shelf, in multiple places) of the store. You could try talking to the manager of the store. But what I have done is call their 800 number, the people that I have spoke with on it have been nice, knowledgeable and helpful. Or I have filled out the "contact us" (I think that's what it's under) form on the Walmart website. I hope this helps. Our foods seem to be being shuffled around or away these days. When you find something you like and can afford, then it seems to be gone in some way. Good luck!
