I would avoid the weekend if the weather is nice as it will start to get busy around 5. If the weather is not great it will be quieter, but in the week is the best time to go.
Buy a line skip ticket with bottle service. Avoid the line and don't wait at the bar. Often ends up cheaper than buying by the drink if you have 4+ friends.
