The Queens Social Security Card Center opens from Monday through Friday 7 am to 4 pm. During inclement weather you may have to wait outside the building before 7am (Security check starts at 7 am) or after it if there are too many people already inside going through the security system; This process is delayed by people bringing in items not accepted at a Federal Building and by applicants who do not understand English.
