I have a 2 year Old AKC Beagle who has become aggressive, at night, at bed time. Once he is in bed if you approach him, he will growl at you. Otherwise during the day he is perfectly fine and loving. Would neutering help this issue?

I neutered my yorkie terrier 6 month ago..after that he likes to play more and eats better.. but become a little more protective with son, when he is at bed he growl and barks to everyone get near him but never at the point to bite, just like a guardian dog
