Buy $5 validation ticket from parking office outside ER... Go to vehicle and go to exit gate. .... Place your normal (one you got when you enter) ticket in exit machine, when price pops up place validation ticket in and Gate opens

Be careful with validation ticket for parents. My son was diagnosed with leukemia 3 days ago and we were taken from eastern shore here with an ambulance right away. His dad followed us with our car and when he was leaving the next day he paid 5$ at the parking office. However when he tried to exit the garage using that ticket it wouldn't let him come through until he paid 7$. So he ended up with 12$ bill for 1 night parking. Better go ahead and pay regular 7$ rate

Hi Ximenia: Yes, you'll need to pay for parking and we have different parking rates on weekdays and weekends. For $5, parents or guardians can get a parking validation ticket from the Parking Office, Mon-Fri. Please view our parking webpage for more current information: https://childrensnational.org/choose-childrens/visiting-staying/transportation-parking. - Elizabeth
