Joann does not offer classes but i know ann silvas does

Joanns does offer sewing classes, at least the one at Alameda west Plaza does. Hobby lobby offers painting and craft classes although I dont know if sewing classes are offered there. Michaels offers craft classes. You might want to call some of the community centers and Senior centers in town too. You would be amazed at the scope and varity of classes offered for free or f or a very low fee. Many have quilting classes and machine emboardary.
The Wyoming location has a dedicated room for classes. No expensive last I checked. Also check UNM's Continuing education program.
