pier closed under construction i went 2 weeks ago entrance is also under construction i agree fishing is later,,,, but still fishing is good

Honestly you can go fishing right now, will be significantly less crowded and less expensive than waiting for late may. Just check the tides, better catching when it shifts. Most people might fish either along the rocks or up on the pier. I prefer the pier. But no matter what you do, day or night. Bring bug spray. Or a thermacell bug repellent. Flies in the day to eat you to the bone and mosquito at night to drain you dry. Otherwise fishing had always been great for me.
