I would like to apply for a passport for my child (5 months old), do you accept credit/debit cards? If not personal checks? Also do I need to get 2 checks -80$+25$ Or 80$+35$? This is for a regular passport and not expedited service. Thanks.

They take debit cards and checks. At least last year when i went with my son. We had to make 2 separate checks for the fees.

They accept Visa cards. There is a $5 fee.
