I found a dog in my front yard and it didn’t leave. We took it on hoping to find a missing poster but never happened. Do I just call for them to come? How much do they charge? And I believe she might have a tumor. How does this all work?

This isn't a question about the Maricopa Animal Shelter. This is a question FOR the Maricopa Animal Shelter. Please keep this for things like hours and so forth. These poor people at the Animal shelter are amazing and deal with enough already.

I took in a stray puppy maybe 6 months old, seemed like I was inconveniencing them greatly. I found her on my way to work in the middle of the road.. couldn't hang out all day... just felt like what I thought was doing the right thing was extremely unacceptable. There was no fee.

Post a pic of her on craigslist and on facebook..also post on your community website called nexdoor...those are free sources for things like this, best to use before considering taking her to the pound.
