Great question! I would call them 1st. I think they would be glad to help! They do have special weekends where they wave adoption fees. Also, some dogs my have human support ie. a donor, the person that may have had to give them up may sponsor the dog, donations etc. If you need more help, you can reach me on messenger on Facebook. I would be glad to help out. I know of a great boy at MCACC West and owner surrender will pay adoption fee! Not sure if he is still there though...weekends are busy! I saw him Friday and he was great...well mannered, sweet, non-aggressive, loves fishing and kayaking. His name is Boomer, aka Bojangles, brown and white pit mix, petite, just turned 6 so prime of his life! Owner surrender due to families 10 year old dog, not accepting a new animal.
