I suggest, instead of posting your generic question about Whole Foods coming to Surprise, Arizona, you should send a formal letter to corporate to directly seek an authoritative answer. For instance, I wrote to Trader Joe's and Sprouts Farmers Market regarding opening a store in Anthem or at least in North Phoenix (NoPho), which is north of the 101 and east of the I-17. Trader Joe's didn't bother to respond, but Sprouts did respond. In part, their letter said, Anthem, Arizona LACKED the financial demographics to be considered a viable location for store expansion. (That's fancy talk for Anthem is no Scottsdale.) I don't know the financial analytics for Surprise, so I can't speculate as to Whole Foods coming to Surprise. Since the average income for Sprouts shoppers is substantially LOWER than the average income of Whole Foods shoppers, I can almost guarantee Whole Foods would NEVER open a new store in or near Anthem.
I've seen no indication yet, but it should be in the west side of Phoenix the next one goes
