My passport expired about 10 years ago, however it is lost in the house, I have looked everywhere for it to no avail. Do I need to make a new first time application or does the Dept. State have my original information?

You have to apply as if it was your first time applying for a Passport . it's going too cost you 205 dollars . you will also have to submit a additional form called a lost and or stolen Passport form along with your new application . If everything checks out you will pick up your Passport 24 hours later . they open up at 7: 30 am and you must be inside the building before 3: pm . good luck . if you submit your application on Friday you will pick up you Passport on Monday .
