Daniel... I currently live in Sacramento, and grew up in Fresno. Pan fried noodles are hard to find as they make them there!
Dear Daniel Luera:. If you have ever ventured out of Fresno, you would know that there are a lot of Chinese places that do not serve pan-fried noodles. I had a hell of a time finding them the 5 years that I lived in San Diego, 11 years in LA, and the 13 years that I lived in Hilo. Some places claim to serve pan-fried noodles when they mean stir fried noodles. I have just returned to Fresno after an absence of 52 years - 22-years on active service as a Marine and 23 in another career that took me to several places. I have lived in four different states, three different countries and visited many more. Believe me when I say good pan-fried noodles are not as common as you think. Is that even a question? What Chinese restaurant doesn't have pan fried noodles. Of course they do.
