If the store closes at 9 why was it Closed at 8:58? Be more specific when closing the door to the store, all I needed is to return something quick. And employees inside ignoring me like they don't see a guy with a pillow and a receipt by the door

The few minutes difference in clocks creates problems. If any of their registers are on an intra net then employees will likely use that as an excuse. It can be a company policy but all companies should take care of the customer first. You are right and being upset would be how I would feel. I currently work for a company that made their name through customer service so I strongly dislike what happened to you. No I do not work for big and small lots. Better luck with where you go and the service you get.

Even though all clocks may have a minute or two difference, the "customer is always right", so it's said! From a customer service position, they should of let you return your pillow. I agree with you on this one! Happy future returns Demian☺
