Yes they help with car repair along with proof that you are working like your pay check stubs. Self employed, no.
I don't not know if they have any suggestions for you to get your car repair I believe that is something that you might have to do on your own. Vasquez Muffler and Brake and Crest Hill they may be able to put you on a payment plan the assisted me before.
They do have an auto repair program. Call them for details.
Check with The Township Office or Catholic Charities. Sorry but I don't believe any other place helps with fixing or getting a car.

I have the same problem. I badly need an oil change and a brake job. But I can't afford either. I saved enough to get the brakes, but can't find anyone that will put them on because I can't pay them.
