He will be put through test and if he passes them he will go up for adoption. if he don't pass he will be put down.. but being in a strange place it could make him frighten and scared. So he may react differently when they are testing him then they do at your home..
No it doesn't cost but you have to fill out forms about him. And you can look online watch out for him. If he is still there, go to a foster home
