For some reason the last few years everyone thinks they have to take their dog with them everywhere they go but they are putting themselves in great liability if anything were to happen. Home Depot allows service dogs and that's a great thing but please for the sake of everyone else in the store leave your precious dog at home.
I'm not sure they allow dogs that are not service dogs. But as rule of thumb, I'd call and ask for the store manager, and ask them. My answer would be speculation. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
