I get that queso is a thing in bars and Tex Mex cooking but I don't really see the point of ordering it at restaurants that serve traditional Mexican cuisine and expecting it to taste familiar, let alone Yelp-ing restaurants to death if they don't include it in their menus. It's like ordering hamburgers at an Italian restaurant. Be grateful for the delicious cultural exchange like a grown-up member of society, for Heaven's sake. "My food was bland because I ordered melty cheese poured all over it" is some ignorant nonsense and y'all know it.
This whole spot, while seeming like it's going to be a good hole-in-the-wall location, is actually not really good at all. My burrito that was advertised as "covered in queso" was really just melted American cheese. Very disappointing.
