There is a street music setup outside the museum that is free. There's a courtyard with grass inside the museum, but I wouldn't call it a playground. For your admission fee of nine dollars, everything is included. Artville (the little kids area) is a socks only space for five and under kids. Older siblings are welcome there as long as they don't cause problems. The main museum activities and the changing exhibit are all included. The only extra cost is for a class if you pre-register. They have classes occasionally that are always great. There's no parking cost either. So, nine dollars a person includes it all...
You can use all of facilities, there is a playground inside and outside, really nice with bunch of things to do. You can check out the interactive area with the exhibits etc. There is a lot you can do and explore for all ages. It's worth the $9. You can also get a membership, which really pays off.
