Of course you need a fishing license everywhere in Texas you can fish anywhere without a license but its illegal everywhere in the state of Texas. If you get caught fishing without a license it's a biogas fine. My son even spent a couple hours in jail for fishing without a license. Very expensive and depressing time a license to fish!!!!!
