You can actually start boxing and go pro at any age I believe. Of course you want to do amateur boxing first before even thinking of going pro but there have been fighters who only fight a couple of amateur fights before going pro. Remember most boxers start their training at a very young age, Floyd May weather started when he was 5 years old, so you have to be realistic about your goals and be very dedicated to the craft of boxing if you want to go pro some day. Nothing is impossible though a good example is Deontay Wilder he started boxing late in his mid 20s but still became heavyweight champion of the world. Rocky Marciano started boxing in his mid 20s as well and retired as the only undefeated heavy weight champion.
