Yes, your condition is a qualifying condition. Remember NONE of the cost for medical marijuana (MM) is covered by insurance, it is 100% out of your pocket. First, you need your primary care physician or pain management doctor to give you a referral to a doctor that is licensed to certify you for MM. The certification doctor will give you the paperwork to get your MM card from NYS. The cost to see that doctor $250 - $300, another $200 annually to recertify. Then you will log onto the state website to apply for MM card, cost $50. When you receive your card you can then make an appointment with Columbia Care (CC). Figure at minimum you will be spending about $200/mo. My first trip was $170 for two weeks of meds. By the time we got it adjusted to a level that helped I was paying over $500/mo. Remember this IS NOT covered by insurance at all. The meds are weak, they don't last long and it takes a lot, at least for me, to eleviate my pain. If your looking for a high, not gonna get much.
