I'm a personal chef. I've made huevos rancheros. It is a tomato based broth, I use El Pato Mexican tomato sauce as my base along with a bit of chicken broth.

Yes I agree with David. It's a tomato paste broth. So pato can be used too It depends how spicy hot you want it!!. I love my ranchito I go there at least once a week!
