@Justin. There are not any fees to be a SEFCU member. You just need to open a savings account with a perpetual $1.00 balance. Direct deposit is simple. Just ask your employer.
Vicky is correct. You keep $1 in your primary savings account. When you get direct deposit it shows up one day before you would get your paper check. If there's a holiday and employees get their checks on Thursday instead of Friday, then your direct deposit shows up on Wednesday. At least that has been my experience.
