Because people are jerks. Hey your car will get dinged, scratched and bumped no matter where you park it. Relax. There's much worse tragedy in life.
Because they know you care enough about your vehicle that you won't ding theirs either.
They may have Big people getting out of the car and they need more room to get out
Probably have the same idea as you and don't want their car to feel lonely
I WOULD TELL HIM YOU HAVE ALL THESE PARKING SPACES AND YOU CHOOSE TO PARK NEXT TO ME OR I WOULD'VE WAITED FOR THEM TO GET OFF THEN I WOULD MOVE MY CAR...
Perhaps they share your views about parking far away from the store. Or they like your vehicle...
Maybe they want to be safe too but it seems odd that they park next to you too. It's a very big parking lot!
