How much is just an eye exam without any kind of insurance? I have gone toFour Eyes my entire life,but now there's a new Dr.&staff.Tried Stanton,will never go back there!Doing research on best places&prices to get prescription for contact lenses. TY

I'm not sure of the stand-alone eye exam, but I got my exam, plus a visual field test, plus two pair of glasses for under $100, and that was without insurance. It costs more if you want fancier frames or special lenses, but I didn't feel any pressure, and I was impressed with the doctor.
