Yes ut does. I have been there at 7 am before to walk and others are already there before me.

If you walk the perimeter of the actual mall floor, without entering Macy's, JCP, or Best Buy, and you don't skip going up and down each hallway to each exit, the distance is almost exactly one mile.

Yes, 9 am like Nicole said. Both my parents have had knee replacements. It'll do just as much good to walk around your house or up and down stairs as well. Mom leaned on the buggy at Meijer for 3 months (had both knees done at once), dad had one knee done and was walking up the stairs the day he came home. Really just depends how much you want or can push yourself. Good luck!
