As others have noted, there is public street parking around the museum. There is also a small lot at the museum itself, but it is reserved for staff/members only.
There is a parking lot (accessed via Linden St) but has only 5 visitor spots during the week. This lot is open to the public on weekends, including the numbered staff parking spots. If the lot is full there are parking decks within an easy walk of the museum in several directions.
I think the meters are only able to give you two hours. The meters are cheap.
