I am an instructor there. Any good weather day is best. Monday and Tuesday are slowest due to instructor time off. The comments about watching from Skyron drive are not inaccurate. Hertz rental car takes up a good part of the smaller parking lot on the Old Easton Road side. If your kids are old enough and we have time we can take them out to a plane up close and personal. Feel free to ask questions fron any airport staff. Welcome and enjoy the show! The airport is always open, the grounds are open sunrise to sunset.
Yes. With our toddler, we watch from BEHIND the runway on Skyron Drive where there are plenty of areas to park & watch with NO obstructions. Parking lot of airport off of Old Easton Rd is shared with other businesses & the view is not the greatest. Timing is difficult to predict as flights are private. We pack a lunch & go after noon.
