I have been going to Omega for a few years. To get into Pain Management, there are a few steps. I find this is standard in all practices. First, your primary care doctor needs to send a referral. I think any doctor you see would be fine, though. Once you have a referral, call and schedule an appointment as a new patient. They will get your recommendation from your doctor and schedule your first appointment. This part can take some time depending on your schedule and theirs. Without a doctors recommendation, they will not see you from my understanding. Again, this is very standard in pain management. I would suggest working with your PCP to contact them and provide the referral and it should be pretty simple.
I have been a patient for several months. I called and made an appointment. You will need a referral from a doctor or a letter from the pain clinic you have been going to I think. Keep calling, they are open Monday through Thursday. Good luck.
I just called and made a appointment as a new patient. You need ur pain history and ur primary doctor. I have been a patient with Omega and have been very satisfied with my doctor there.
Yo become a new patient you need to call and request a new patient packet, fill it out and send or take it in. Then wait for all of your medical records to be reviewed and pass the qualifications needed. Depending on your situation they will usually get back to you within 2 weeks.... You can always call, or have a primary care physician refer you....that will usually speed up the process. Good Luck!!
