I believe you can sell comics, not sure about toys.
The owner does buy old comics, but only those in demand and unless rare, only comics in excellent condition. I don't believe the store normally takes consignments, but again, if a rare enough book, possibly. And few comics less than decades old, and then only "key issues," are considered rare. So while there are valuable comics in people's garages, non-collectors tend to overestimate their resale value to a retailer. I don't know about toys, but first, the store sells only comics-related items, and might consider rare superhero collectibles, but otherwise, no.
Employee here- we absolutely do buy comics! Call in before bringing anything in and call first to make sure Greg is in the store (not on weekends), he's the boss and will take a look at whatever you bring in and discuss it with you. We'll buy collections and we don't cherry pick through them, so typically we won't buy single comics. Toys and cards aren't our market since we deal in comics more than anything else. Always worth a shot to bring them in, though.
I'm not sure about toys, but they will buy select comics.
I think so, but I would call first. If not I know you can@ the nerd store. In the Valley fair mall
