I have never tried ordering groceries on-line, but I imagine you would have to enter your card number. On the other hand, it may be that because it is an EBT card with only SNAP benefits and no cash allowances that you're not allowed to use the card for goods & services that are cash only -- like whatever charge Fresh Grocer might levy for the convenience of filling any on-line orders.
56th St store is the only one without online shopping. I don't know how the EBT card works but I would call the store.
